“I have a late Victorian terraced cottage and Victoria Roofing of Windsor re-roofed the roof coverings to the rear mono-pitch slate roof, following the old roof leaking. They are specialists in period properties in the area, and have undertaken a first class job. Mick Whittington of Victoria roofing was most efficient, in firstly coming around and diagnosing the cause of the leak to the old roof and providing a prompt and reasonable quotation to undertake the required works, which in this case involved stripping off the old coverings, setting aside slates that could be salvaged, counter battening some of the timber rafters to level up the rafters and re-instating the slate roof coverings with new breather membrane, battens and re-slating the roof, providing additional natural slates as necessary. Secondly upon acceptance of their quotation, Mick Whittington came around promptly and undertook the works proficiently and has left me with a sound weathertight roof. An excellent service from a good local roofer.”
